Although God has been calling together a great team of people to start Redemption Hill, we are still in need of much support. At of the time of this post we have 18 adults who have committed to be part of Redemption Hill. They consist of 4 single guys (so single ladies, we have some great guys who love Jesus
), 6 married couples and 1 engaged couple, with a total of 15 kidos between the ages of 6 months and 14 yrs old. As you can imagine, we are excited about the church that God is calling unto Himself in Auburn to live on mission for His glory.
Right now we are interacting through cookouts, soccer games, coffee, and meals to clarify the mission and vision of Redemption Hill. With all of that said, we are now propelling into our support raising phase (which I am dreading) so if anyone has $87,300 and would like to write a check that would be sweet. Although I totally trust God, I doubt that it will be one person to fund the whole endeavor and I don’t think it would be the best method of planting. So we are trusting God to bring people from all over Maine, New England, America and the World to help us share Jesus with the greater Auburn area. Our needs are for prayer and finances. This is where you can help. Below is a short form [click on "Support Redemption Hill" link] that you can fill out to help us with the launch of RH. We will not spam you, I promise. You can choose what type of support you will be a part of so if God is not calling you to give financially, we ask you to join the prayer part. Whatever you are called to do, let us know. We will follow up in the next couple weeks with emails as to the next step.

About Redemption Hill
Vision—
Jesus came to live among the world to redeem the world. Redemption Hill seeks to live in the world to help redeem the world for His glory. Jesus gave of Himself so we could have right relationship with God the Father. Redemption Hill will thrive as missionaries in the greater Auburn area so that the 100,000 people who live there can know the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
Mission—
Redemption Hill is a gospel-centered, missional, church-plant that will be launching in Auburn, Maine in January 2012. At the core of Redemption Hill, we will seek to be a community that reaches the 95% of Maine that does not have a relationship with Jesus. Our hope is that we will not only reach those in the greater Auburn area, but throughout New England by using the efforts and ministries of Redemption Hill.
Goals—
In January 2012, Redemption Hill, led by Josh Cousineau who is the current youth pastor of EABC and an Auburn native, will launch a Sunday Gathering along with missional communities throughout the greater Auburn area. Redemption Hill seeks to be a church-planting church with a vision to plant not only missional communities throughout the greater Auburn area, but also church gatherings and church plants throughout Maine and New England.
